In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well being and that of our community.
* We have been following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the American Dental Association and CAlifornia Dental Association and restricting out office hours to emergency procedures only. An emergency procedure is one that produces a moderate to high pain level and swelling or fracture of tooth structures causing pain. This is to limit exposure of the staff and patient base to exposure to this virus.
NOw, as the world starts to work amid this pandemic, we are accomodating the office to make it as safe and comfortable as possible for you as well as our employees.
In all the operatories we have installed HEPA air filters that also have the benefit of UV light sterilization as the air that is filtered it is also purified by a UV sterilizer. Also, on top of our normal sterilization protocol, were are using UV lights to sterilize the room after each patient is seen. Social distance separation in the reception are has been established and we are trying to have people stay in there cars until their appointment time is ready. We will be texting that your appointment time is ready so you can minimize the potential of contact. Sneeze guards have been installed in the front desk area for your and the staffs protection*Your health and the health of our staff matters to us, so we are trying to make sure that we have a the possible precautions and protections measures in place before we open. Our soft reopening is tenatively set for June 2, 2020. We are going to start to reschedule the cleaning from the furthest appointments out and will get everyone that was on the schedule during our closed period rescheduled as soon as we can.
* Patients will be seen for urgent and emergency dental need only.
We will contact you soon if we haven't already to reschedule your routine hygiene or dental cleaning appointments. If you are having a severe dental emergency we can be contacted at 562-889-4057. Leave a voice message or text message with your name, nature of your problem and contact information and we will contact you shortly.
The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and positive outlook. Hopefully this will be behind us soon and we can continue to provide your oral health care needs as we have in the past
